Designed in collaboration with Offgrid Architecture, this home is all about bold materials and thoughtful details. The sleek aluminium cladding makes a striking first impression, while inside, a large sociable kitchen with a generous island and beautiful herringbone flooring creates the heart of the home. A cosy window seat sits beneath a wide skylight, filling the space with natural light. Sliding doors open out to the immaculately landscaped garden, blurring the boundaries between indoors and out. With a cleverly designed utility room and cloakroom tucked neatly away, every corner of the home has been made to work beautifully and feel good to live in.

We are thrilled with our new extension. It’s really transformed the way we use the house. As we settle into the new space it’s been wonderful to have friends and family visit and see their reaction to such a smart and well thought-out space. Everyone comments on the finish too! Some of our favourite features include the Amtico flooring and the Quartz work tops, which are easy to clean and the light just bounces off them. We are delighted with our shaker style cupboard fronts too, in Fir Green, which feel simultaneously a bit different, yet classic. The process of living alongside the building work was stress-free. The contractors were clean and tidy and Exact did really well to seal off the back of the house and keep the project separate. We really appreciated being presented with design choices but not bombarded with options, and we often took up Hannah on her suggestions for the interiors.
